Ovarian Cancer Support

A few weeks ago, I wrote about my Aunt Martha and her battle with Ovarian Cancer. That post was written as part of a contest held on Julie’s Journal, and I won! (Thanks, Julie!)
Yesterday, an envelope came in the mail from L’Oreal with all of these goodies inside, including a hand-written note, a pin, and a royal blue velveteen necklace envelope that holds the necklace. It is so nice! I am going to send the necklace to my Aunt Martha, and keep the pin as a reminder of her fight, and to remind others of this disease that too often gets forgotten.

That’s so special and inspiring. Great job on helping to get the word out on this often silent disease.
